So I just finished watching The Back Up Plan.
First let me say that I really, really like Jenny From The Block when she plays these quirky woman in these silly romantic comedies.
Lest anyone forget that I AM a girl and that sometimes I like watching silly romantic comedies. Especially when Jennifer Lopez plays quirky in them.
If you’ve don’t already know, the movie is about this single woman who wants to have a baby so she buys some sperm and gets turkey basted.. only to meet the man of her dreams after she leaves the doctor’s office.
The doctor, by the way, played HYSTERICALLY by Robert Klein.
Anyway.. the man of her dreams?
Alex O’Loughlin … who just may have replaced Gerald Butler as the man of MY dreams.
I mean really…
Where the HELL did this man come from?
Ok.. I know he’s from Australia :: yes, I’m pathetic. I googled him :: .. but seriously. How the hell has HE been flying under my radar??
I actually had to watch the movie twice because the first time I was way too occupied wiping the drool off my chin but honestly, I thought it was a really cute movie.
JLo is much better when she plays this type of character :: think The Wedding Planner :: then she is in flicks like Angel Eyes or Enough. She’s kinda like Hugh Grant that way.
Alex O’Louglin is the dude that knocks her off her heels.. not that I think he would have to try that hard. At all.
If you just take it for what it is.. a light hearted, funny little movie with a smoking hot Australian actor playing the lead roll.. you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommended for the other card carrying sisters of the SLEEPING NEXT TO A SNORING PASTY WHITE MAN club!!
LIVING ME 101 
If you loved Alex in the Back Up Plan, then you need to check him out in the vampire series Moonlight. You won’t be disappointed. It stars Alex as a vampire private detective with Sophia Myles (Underworld) as his love interest. Jason Dohring (Veronica Mars) plays his best ‘vamp’ friend. You can view on iTunes or buy the DVD… ;-)
Definitely will, Silverchex!! Like I replied on MariaMoonlight’s comment, I want to wait until everybody is out of the house to enjoy it.. the only thing that sucks is the I can’t call out of work sick because I sleep with the boss!! ;)
Wow, that would make it difficult to call in. Hey after you watch Moonlight we want to hear your review. Some said the first few eppys were a little slow but took off with Fever (EP 4). I loved it from the very beginning and it got better and better. ;-)
You wanna drool a little more? Get the dvd of Moonlight. Alex is great in everything he does but he’ll knock your socks off in Moonlight…*sigh*

Yeah….. welcome to our world. He has a legion of lovesick fans all over the world. Not only is he handsome and talented… the man is genuinely nice and down to earth. Alex is worth every bucket of drool he has earned.
Cindy … you’re photo made me get all tingly in places usually reserved for my husband!! LOL!! In fact, I told him that I was going to print out an 8×10 and he’ll have to wear it the next time he does something that he knows is going to piss me off to soften the blow a bit!! Hahahaha
Honey, welcome to our world! We’ve been drooling, obsessing, and trying really hard to keep the grins off our faces when we watch Alex. He’s something else. Not only is he a wonderful actor but he’s sweet, charming, and funny as well. Feel free to drop into the many sites dedicated to him. Of course, you may not come out ’til next Christmas but then you won’t mind the passing of the time. At least, I don’t! LOL
